John Yanyshyn began his professional career in 1980 as a photojournalist for the Vancouver Sun, BC’s largest newspaper. During the first 15 years he simultaneously operated his commercial photography studio and split his work between the studio and his photojournalism work. Through these two disciplines he has developed the skill to react quickly and decisively to complex and ever-changing situations. John combines a story telling ability with the technical knowledge required to produce powerful images for a wide range of clients. John has never lost his passion for his work and continues to use the latest equipment and software available.
